Job Description

Overview

  • Lead on-site operations for diverse construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and timely completion.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and personnel to achieve project milestones efficiently and resolve challenges proactively.
  • Conduct site inspections, ensuring compliance with regulations and project specifications while maintaining detailed documentation.
  • Develop and manage project schedules in collaboration with the project management team to ensure seamless execution.
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality workmanship, fostering collaboration and accountability among team members.
  • Monitor labor productivity and material deliveries to maintain project timelines effectively and ensure resource optimization.
  • Support project closeout activities, including punch list coordination and final inspections, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel for efficient operations and seamless collaboration.
  • Conduct site inspections, document progress, and address corrective actions promptly to ensure project integrity.
  • Lead subcontractor meetings, safety discussions, and coordination sessions to maintain project alignment.

  • Track labor productivity and material deliveries to maintain project schedules and optimize resources.
  • Identify and resolve field issues proactively, ensuring smooth project progression and stakeholder satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; advanced education in construction management preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent; 8 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in managing ground-up and renovation construction projects successfully.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and specifications, with proficiency in relevant technology.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
  • Commitment to jobsite safety and promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
