  • Lead payroll operations for a dynamic organization, ensuring compliance and accuracy across multi-state payroll systems.
  • Develop and enhance scalable payroll processes to improve operational efficiency and integration.
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure seamless payroll and benefits administration.
  • Support audits and maintain organized, compliant payroll records for regulatory adherence.
  • Administer benefits and 401(k) plans, ensuring accurate deductions and contributions.
  • Train local administrators and onboard new divisions into payroll processes effectively.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update payroll procedures to maintain compliance.
  • Provide leadership in payroll operations, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Execute comprehensive payroll processing for union and non-union employees, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Develop and maintain payroll documentation and standard operating procedures for scalability.
  • Administer employee benefits and 401(k) contributions, ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize payroll integration and streamline operations.
  • Train and mentor local administrators on payroll and benefits procedures.
  • Monitor and adapt to regulatory changes, updating payroll processes accordingly.
  • Support internal and external audits by maintaining well-documented payroll records.
  • Drive continuous improvement in payroll operations to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of payroll management experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems such as iSolved and ERP platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and union payroll regulations.
  • Experience in benefits administration and 401(k) contributions management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for compliance and audits.
  • Strong communication skills for training and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to develop scalable payroll procedures and improve operational efficiency.
