Construction Manager

Overview

• Lead construction management for large-scale mixed-use developments and adaptive reuse projects within a dynamic real estate investment firm.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Oversee construction activities for aviation infrastructure projects, including hangars and airport facilities.
• Drive innovative solutions for repositioning historic or underutilized assets to maximize value.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards across all construction projects.
• Contribute to strategic planning and execution within a vertically integrated real estate firm.
• Work closely with stakeholders to align project goals with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage construction schedules, budgets, and resources for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
• Prepare and present detailed project reports to stakeholders and leadership.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project delays or cost overruns.
• Ensure all construction activities adhere to local regulations and industry standards.
• Foster strong relationships with vendors and partners to optimize project outcomes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management; 10 years preferred.
• Proven expertise in managing large-scale mixed-use developments and adaptive reuse projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills to manage diverse teams effectively.
• Experience with aviation infrastructure projects is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site and travel to project locations as needed.
