Overview

  • Lead and oversee clinical operations across multiple outpatient facilities, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Drive operational excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement within regional ambulatory surgery centers.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize clinical workflows and resource utilization effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to clinical staff, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Monitor and evaluate clinical performance metrics to drive data-informed decision-making processes.
  • Ensure adherence to CMS Conditions for Coverage and accreditation standards across all sites.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align clinical operations with organizational goals and strategies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage daily operations of multiple ambulatory surgery centers, ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and oversee clinical policies and procedures to maintain accreditation and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance clinical workflows and improve patient satisfaction across all facilities.
  • Coordinate with site managers to ensure efficient resource allocation and operational effectiveness.
  • Provide training and support to clinical teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize operations.
  • Ensure compliance with CMS Conditions for Coverage and other healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align clinical operations with organizational objectives and strategic goals.

Job Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, MBA) preferred.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of progressive clinical leadership experience in healthcare settings.
  • Multi-site ambulatory surgery center (ASC) experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of CMS Conditions for Coverage and accreditation standards.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor clinical teams effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage complex operations.
  • Flexibility to travel and work extended hours when necessary.
