Overview

  • Contribute to valuation and portfolio analysis within a dynamic investment environment.
  • Utilize advanced financial modeling techniques to support valuation processes and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and review financial models for valuation and stress-testing purposes.
  • Implement valuation best practices across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Utilize methodologies such as DCF and comparable transactions for security valuation.
  • Prepare performance analyses, KPI trackers, and presentations for senior management.
  • Ensure accuracy and clarity in valuation data and communicate results effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to address valuation inquiries.
  • Monitor financial performance and industry dynamics for portfolio investments.
  • Coordinate valuation activities and materials for stakeholders, highlighting trends and drivers.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in valuation-related work; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in valuation techniques such as DCF, comparable company, and precedent transactions.
  • Thorough understanding of ASC 820 and valuation guidance.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to formulate accurate conclusions.
  • Effective project management skills and awareness of internal business controls.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
