Job Description

Overview

  • Coordinate field operations and ensure construction activities adhere to schedules and quality standards.
  • Implement safety protocols and quality control measures across assigned project areas.
  • Supervise subcontractors and trades to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Optimize resource allocation and equipment utilization for efficient project execution.
  • Gain exposure to diverse construction projects and contribute to their successful completion.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise field teams and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Monitor project budgets and address discrepancies to maintain financial alignment.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with safety standards.
  • Develop hazard recognition procedures and ensure safety in new activities.
  • Utilize construction management software for effective project oversight and reporting.
  • Direct subcontractors and suppliers to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Maintain adherence to organizational standards of excellence and ethics.
  • Foster team development and recruit top industry talent to enhance capabilities.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree preferred.
  • 4-6 years of construction management experience in supervisory roles.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore and PlanGrid.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and proven implementation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to direct subcontractors and suppliers effectively.
  • Excellent understanding of construction processes, including scheduling and contract administration.
  • Field experience managing projects valued at $15M+ is highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, ethical, and results-oriented professional.
