Overview

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design innovative healthcare facilities meeting functional and aesthetic needs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead healthcare facility planning and design phases, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to achieve project milestones effectively.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data critical for project development.
  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings and specifications using industry-standard software.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to discuss project progress and address concerns proactively.
  • Integrate sustainable practices into healthcare facility designs, promoting environmental responsibility.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support on project tasks and professional development.
  • Review and approve design changes and modifications during construction phases to ensure quality.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent degree is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare facility planning and design.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, building codes, and sustainable design practices.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills to handle complex projects.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging clients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with LEED certification and sustainable design principles is preferred.
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel as needed for project requirements.
