Overview

  • Deliver exceptional primary care to adult patients, emphasizing compassionate, high-quality treatment aligned with organizational values and patient-centered care principles.
  • Diagnose and manage a diverse range of medical conditions, including chronic diseases and preventive care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address complex health needs and improve care coordination for patients.
  • Participate in continuing medical education to maintain professional competence and stay updated on advancements in medicine.
  • Supervise and mentor paramedical staff, fostering their professional development and enhancing team effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, organizational policies, and regulatory standards to maintain a safe healthcare environment.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation, including medical records and regulatory forms, to support patient care and compliance requirements.
  • Engage in peer review audits and quality improvement initiatives to uphold high standards of medical practice.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct thorough examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for patients, addressing their health concerns with evidence-based approaches.
  • Provide preventive care services and refer patients to specialists or consultative services as needed for comprehensive care.
  • Manage patient caseloads effectively, ensuring adherence to quality care standards and productivity benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Document patient progress and required information for reimbursement and regulatory compliance accurately and promptly.
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring activities to support the development of paramedical personnel.
  • Report issues and unusual occurrences to supervisors, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining care quality.
  • Contribute to medical staff meetings and organizational initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery and team collaboration.
  • Assist in peer review chart audits and quality assurance activities to uphold clinical excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical institution.
  • Completion of residency in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Osteopathic Medicine.
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
  • Active medical license to practice in the relevant state.
  • Minimum of one year of progressive experience in a related medical field.
  • Strong dedication to patient care and commitment to organizational goals.
  • Ability to manage diverse patient caseloads effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with healthcare teams.
