Overview

  • Lead clinical operations, ensuring efficient delivery of primary and specialty care services in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Supervise and mentor clinical staff, fostering professional growth and maintaining high-quality patient care standards.
  • Coordinate patient flow and workload to optimize productivity and enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and community agencies to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical procedures, infection control measures, and OSHA standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews to drive clinical excellence.
  • Maintain organized and confidential electronic medical records and documentation.
  • Provide coverage and support to other Clinical Care Managers as needed.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Recruit, hire, and supervise clinical support staff, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and policies.
  • Develop and manage staff schedules to maintain efficient clinical operations and patient care delivery.
  • Screen walk-in patients, prioritize care based on urgency, and coordinate practitioner availability.
  • Address patient complaints and inquiries, providing solutions and directing them to appropriate resources.
  • Conduct clinical in-service training for nursing and medical assistant staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Administer immunizations and ensure compliance with health standards and regulations.
  • Chair monthly nursing meetings to discuss updates, address concerns, and align practices.
  • Collaborate with other Clinical Care Managers to align clinical practices across the network.
  • Assist in implementing and evaluating grant objectives and clinical procedures effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • Minimum two years of experience in an ambulatory setting, including pediatric care.
  • Supervisory experience managing clinical teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Record Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage busy clinical environments.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred for enhanced communication with diverse patient populations.
  • Commitment to infection control and adherence to OSHA standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with healthcare providers and community agencies.
