Job Description

Overview

  • Manage diverse construction projects from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and project alignment.
  • Drive project execution in a fast-paced environment, contributing to organizational growth and success.
  • Oversee project financials, schedules, and risk management to ensure optimal performance.
  • Leverage industry expertise to manage ground-up and renovation projects effectively.
  • Utilize project management software to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and financial performance metrics.
  • Lead subcontractor selection, contract negotiation, and buyout processes.
  • Coordinate with field leadership to ensure alignment on schedules, safety, and quality standards.
  • Review and process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications.
  • Track project costs and proactively manage risks and potential issues.
  • Lead project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents, safety standards, and company procedures.
  • Foster strong client relationships and maintain effective communication throughout project lifecycle.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Proven ability to manage ground-up and renovation projects effectively.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and project financials.
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Procore or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
