Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews on design packages.
  • Prepare work plans and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Mentor junior staff, promoting technical and professional development.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver coordinated designs.
  • Conduct power studies and utilize software tools for electrical system analysis.
  • Lead mid-sized and large-scale projects, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Engage in marketing and business development activities to support organizational growth.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Licensed engineer in Michigan with 12-15 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Revit, AGI Lighting, and power study software such as SKM and ETAP.
  • Solid knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards.
  • Extensive experience with electrical power system equipment and components.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing complex projects.
  • Ability to travel to client locations as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration.
