Overview
- Provide professional nursing care and clinical supervision to the patient care team in a dynamic healthcare environment.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and maintain efficient workflows.
- Coordinate daily huddles, manage clinical supplies, and prepare materials for patient care activities.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and conduct point-of-care tests as per protocol.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate electronic health records within specified timelines.
- Act as a Lead Nurse in the absence of the Manager, ensuring smooth operations and team coordination.
- Provide mentorship, evaluate performance, and assist in staff training and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants, delegating tasks and ensuring completion.
- Manage scheduling, PTO requests, and coordinate daily operations of the care team.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments.
- Review patient charts for missing information and address open orders during team huddles.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and patient confidentiality standards.
- Administer medications and treatments, planning and coordinating patient care interventions.
- Document patient care activities in electronic health records promptly and accurately.
- Assist in staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a high-performing team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or ambulatory setting required.
- Current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and medical chart reporting required.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, infection control, and safety standards required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment required.
- Ability to manage clinical supplies and coordinate care team activities effectively.
