Job Description

Overview

  • Lead financial reporting and accounting for diverse products in the commercial and corporate banking sector.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements in daily, monthly, and yearly reporting.
  • Analyze financial variances to maintain transparency and accuracy in revenue projections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial operations and drive efficiency.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives to optimize financial systems and reporting processes.
  • Contribute to managerial adjustments and reporting to various organizational branches.
  • Engage in projects aimed at improving operational workflows and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly profit and loss analysis for financial products.
  • Conduct month-end reporting and adjustments with branches and headquarters.
  • Ensure accurate General Ledger closures in collaboration with accounting teams.
  • Substantiate balance sheets and evaluate new trades for valuation and accounting treatment.
  • Provide analytical responses to ad hoc requests from various departments.
  • Reengineer processes to enhance operational efficiency and reporting precision.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless financial operations and regulatory compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CFA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of product control experience, ideally with loan products.
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and work independently or collaboratively.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in process reengineering and financial initiatives is advantageous.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
