  • Manage ground-up projects exceeding $10MM, including site work and infrastructure development.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to align objectives and maintain seamless communication throughout project phases.
  • Oversee on-site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and construction codes.
  • Monitor budgets and schedules, implementing corrective actions to meet project goals.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to teams, fostering collaboration and productivity.
  • Ensure high-quality standards in deliverables, meeting client expectations and industry benchmarks.
  • Travel extensively to project sites, adapting to diverse environments and challenges.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise all aspects of ground-up construction for big-box retail projects, from planning to final delivery.
  • Coordinate site activities, ensuring alignment with project plans and schedules.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present project reports, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Implement problem-solving strategies to address on-site issues and minimize delays.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in construction management or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management; 12 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in managing ground-up construction projects exceeding $10MM.
  • Strong knowledge of site work processes and infrastructure development.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel extensively to project sites and adapt to diverse environments.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
