Job Description

Overview

  • Provide psychiatric care in an inpatient setting, focusing on comprehensive evaluations and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered mental health services.
  • Utilize psychotherapeutic methods and medication management to address diverse psychiatric disorders.
  • Engage in crisis intervention and provide leadership in mental health care delivery.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for patients with primary and secondary psychiatric disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans addressing emotional, social, cognitive, and behavioral needs.
  • Monitor and adjust psychotherapeutic and pharmacological treatments as necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
  • Unrestricted medical license and DEA registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in psychiatric care, preferably in inpatient settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills for collaborative care delivery.
  • Commitment to patient-centered healthcare and professional development.
  • Ability to lead and mentor non-physician mental health providers effectively.
