Data Engineer

Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Design and implement data queries to support business analytics and reporting needs.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using BI tools to visualize key metrics effectively.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Optimize data processes and workflows to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and operational decisions.
• Monitor and improve database performance to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with BI tools and promote their effective use.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management systems such as MS SQL Server and Snowflake.
• Experience with BI tools like Power BI and Sigma Computing.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of data privacy laws and best practices in data governance.
