Job Description

Overview

  • Lead a dynamic team in the Private Assets division, ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction in fund accounting.
  • Collaborate with industry professionals to deliver high-quality services for complex fund structures and financial operations.
  • Oversee Net Asset Value calculations, financial statement preparation, and partner/shareholder allocation processes with precision.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, external standards, and regulatory requirements across all operations.
  • Act as a liaison with clients, external parties, and internal teams to maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and professional development initiatives to build a high-performing team.
  • Drive technology automation, efficiency initiatives, and special projects within the department to enhance productivity.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and execution to achieve organizational objectives effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage daily operations and resource allocation to meet and exceed client service level agreements.
  • Review fund-specific expenses, accounting work, and client deliverables for accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Coordinate external audit processes and ensure timely responses to client inquiries and requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to optimize workflows and deliverables effectively.
  • Evaluate team performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct comprehensive performance reviews.
  • Identify training needs and organize professional development plans to enhance team capabilities.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the department and across other organizational groups.
  • Participate in technology automation and efficiency initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in private equity accounting; leadership experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, waterfall structures, and financial statement preparation processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with FIS Investran PE accounting platform is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to manage relationships effectively.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and achieve strategic organizational goals.
  • Experience in client relationship management and external audit coordination is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial operations and reporting.
