Job Description

Overview

  • Provide high-quality infusion therapy care in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Administer biologic and immunologic therapies with a patient-focused approach.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Perform assessments, monitor treatments, and document clinical data accurately.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage outpatient infusion sessions, administering IV, IM, and SubQ medications.
  • Conduct patient assessments and obtain vital signs prior to therapy.
  • Prepare medications and supplies while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Monitor patients during and post-treatment for adverse reactions.
  • Document treatments and patient responses within the EMR system.
  • Communicate effectively with providers regarding patient status.
  • Support a collaborative team environment to enhance patient care quality.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and standards of care.

Job Requirements

  • Active RN license in good standing or eligibility for Maryland licensure.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in infusion therapy.
  • Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
  • Proficiency in IV insertion and medication administration.
  • Experience with EMR systems and clinical documentation.
  • Ability to work independently in a solo-nurse outpatient setting.
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, and time management skills.
