Job Description

Overview

  • Develop and implement clinical pharmacology strategies to optimize drug development and therapeutic outcomes in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.
  • Apply advanced pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling techniques to inform decision-making and enhance clinical trial designs.
  • Contribute to regulatory submissions by preparing precise and impactful documentation aligned with industry standards.
  • Stay updated on advancements in clinical pharmacology to drive innovation and improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in drug development.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic analyses to support clinical trial objectives and optimize therapeutic strategies.
  • Design and execute clinical studies with robust methodologies for data collection and analysis.
  • Utilize pharmacometric software for modeling and simulation to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare and review regulatory documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Contribute to protocol development and study design for innovative clinical trials.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends and methodologies in clinical pharmacology to maintain cutting-edge practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members in pharmacological practices and methodologies.

Job Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of industry experience, with 3 years preferred, in clinical pharmacology.
  • Proficiency in PKPD principles, modeling, simulation, and pharmacometric software such as R, Phoenix WinNonlin, and NONMEM.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and precise documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in regulatory documentation and clinical trial protocol development.
