Job Description

Overview

  • Provide essential medical support in a clinical setting, assisting healthcare professionals with patient care and administrative tasks.
  • Perform vital sign checks, blood draws, and cognitive assessments, ensuring accurate documentation in electronic medical records.
  • Work onsite in a structured environment with consistent weekday hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Engage in a collaborative team atmosphere to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the success of healthcare initiatives by adhering to established protocols and standards.
  • Participate in a two-step interview process, including virtual and onsite stages.
  • Utilize your Certified Medical Assistant credentials to deliver high-quality patient services.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Take and record patients' vital signs accurately and efficiently.
  • Draw blood samples following proper procedures and safety standards.
  • Administer cognitive assessments and document findings in the EMR system.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.
  • Provide support during patient examinations and procedures as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required.
  • Associate of Science (AS) degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or medical setting.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of medical procedures and patient care practices.
