Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Oversee daily operations of the home health agency, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance.
• Supervise and mentor administrative and clinical staff, fostering professional growth and excellence.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to meet healthcare regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive and effective home health services.
• Monitor and evaluate care quality, implementing improvements to enhance patient outcomes.
• Prepare and present performance reports to executive leadership for informed decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to ethical practices and professional standards in all aspects of patient care.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent healthcare-related degree is required.
• Current Registered Nurse license from the Texas Board of Nursing or Nursing Compact state.
• Minimum of one year supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or related health programs.
• Completion of the required 8-hour Administrator training course is mandatory.
• Effective oral and written communication skills with demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of corporate business management and healthcare regulations is essential.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire is required.
