Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Administer medications and treatments accurately, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
• Monitor residents' health conditions, promptly reporting changes to the healthcare team.
• Document patient care activities comprehensively using healthcare software systems.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, promoting comfort and mobility.
• Perform charge nurse duties as required, ensuring smooth operations during shifts.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices.

Job Requirements

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care settings preferred.
• Completion of an approved practical nursing program is mandatory.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and IV certification are essential.
• Commitment to working every other weekend is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents and teams.
• Proficiency in patient care documentation and healthcare software systems.
• Ability to work on-site during specified hours, including night shifts.
