Job Description

Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage accounting and administration for Separately Managed Account (SMA) vehicles.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, accounting records, and tax documentation.
  • Reconcile month-end NAV reporting and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to address reconciliation breaks and ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in budgeting and payment processes for fund expense accruals.
  • Enhance operational efficiency through the development of internal controls and policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations and compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required; CPA certification preferred.
  • 1-4 years of experience in fund accounting, particularly with alternative investments.
  • Proficiency in general ledger entries, transaction processing, and audit preparation.
  • Familiarity with complex financial instruments such as stocks, bonds, and derivatives.
  • Experience with accounting systems like Advent Geneva, Arcesium, and Duco is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Technical proficiency in Excel and adeptness in various accounting systems.
