Overview

  • Lead clinical operations to ensure quality care, patient satisfaction, and efficient workflows in a dynamic healthcare setting.
  • Coordinate activities across primary care, specialty care, and laboratory units, fostering collaboration and excellence.
  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to support staff, enhancing team performance and patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement staff schedules to optimize workflow and resource allocation effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, confidentiality, and regulatory standards in all clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Recruit, hire, and train clinical support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Monitor patient flow and staff workload, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Screen walk-in patients, prioritize urgent cases, and address patient inquiries and complaints effectively.
  • Coordinate prenatal program activities, ensuring smooth operations and comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain organized and confidential medical records, adhering to compliance standards.
  • Provide infection control training and ensure adherence to OSHA standards and best practices.
  • Chair monthly nursing meetings to foster collaboration and address operational challenges.
  • Report unusual occurrences promptly to supervisors, ensuring timely resolution and accountability.
  • Implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical team performance continuously.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license, demonstrating professional qualifications.
  • Minimum two years of experience in ambulatory or clinical care settings, showcasing practical expertise.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Record systems and Microsoft Office applications for effective documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a busy clinical environment efficiently.
  • Supervisory experience in healthcare settings, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency preferred, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations.
