Overview
- Provide expert contract drafting, negotiation, and lifecycle management within a dynamic remote environment.
- Support the Transactions team by ensuring compliance and minimizing risks through effective contract strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to achieve organizational goals.
- Develop and enhance contract management processes for improved efficiency and oversight.
- Provide training and guidance on contract policies and procedures to internal teams.
- Utilize contract management systems to maintain accurate records and streamline operations.
- Contribute to policy development and system improvements for optimized contract management.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts, including Master Services Agreements and Supply Agreements.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors to gather feedback and approvals.
- Monitor contractual deadlines and coordinate actions with stakeholders.
- Process contract requests independently or with legal counsel, providing informed recommendations.
- Identify and mitigate risks in contracts while ensuring adherence to organizational policies.
- Support contract execution processes and maintain accurate data in management systems.
- Develop tools and strategies to enhance efficiency and client service within the legal team.
- Provide training to internal clients on contract-related policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
- Proficiency in contract management systems, preferably Agiloft, is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of contract language, obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience in preparing redlines and negotiating terms in contracts.
