Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Operate CT and X-ray equipment, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety protocols.
- Perform venipuncture and administer contrast media, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation.
- Maintain comprehensive patient records and utilize RIS systems for efficient data management.
- Assess patients and prepare them for imaging procedures, addressing concerns and providing education.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of workspace to support operational efficiency.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to team initiatives and discussions.
- Perform non-technical duties, including stocking supplies and assisting in patient transportation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and imaging quality.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Science (AS) degree and completion of an accredited ARRT program.
- Current ARRT certification and proficiency in CT and X-ray imaging procedures.
- Preferred one year of experience in CT and X-ray imaging.
- Ability to perform venipuncture and administer contrast media safely and effectively.
- Basic computer skills for record management and equipment operation.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Commitment to infection control, radiation safety, and patient care standards.
- Strong reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills to excel in a collaborative environment.
