Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage client engagements from planning to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of tax services.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor team members, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Review tax returns and provisions, identifying opportunities for optimization and compliance improvement.
  • Conduct research and provide consultation on complex tax matters and regulatory changes.
  • Utilize OneSource Tax Provision software for efficient tax provision preparation and review.
  • Respond to inquiries from tax authorities, ensuring accurate and professional communication.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, understanding their operations and objectives for tailored tax solutions.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge of tax regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • Active CPA or JD/active law license required, with state-specific certification.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive tax compliance or consulting experience.
  • Proficiency in ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes and corporate compliance.
  • Experience with OneSource Tax Provision software preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office and remote tasks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration.
