Overview

  • Drive strategic financial analysis and pricing solutions to support organizational growth and profitability in a dynamic professional services environment.
  • Collaborate with leadership to design innovative fee arrangements and enhance business intelligence across diverse practices and teams.
  • Develop detailed financial models and budgets to optimize performance and support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct scenario analyses to evaluate staffing models, realization rates, and margin impacts effectively.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including productivity metrics and performance insights.
  • Lead training initiatives on financial strategies, pricing methodologies, and business intelligence tools.
  • Support client negotiations and RFP responses with robust budgeting and pricing components.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analyses and presentations to inform senior management decisions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Collaborate with attorneys and stakeholders to develop effective pricing strategies and fee arrangements.
  • Conduct profitability analyses at matter, client, and practice levels to guide strategic initiatives.
  • Utilize advanced data visualization tools to analyze and present complex financial data.
  • Advise on pricing best practices and risk assessments for alternative fee arrangements.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports detailing productivity and performance metrics.
  • Lead training sessions on financial tools and matter management techniques for team members.
  • Support business development efforts with detailed budgeting and pricing strategies for proposals.
  • Provide comprehensive financial analyses and presentations to support organizational goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in financial planning or analysis; six years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced data visualization tools like Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive consensus across teams.
