Overview

  • Lead construction projects for big-box retail locations, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to manage project scope, budget, and schedules effectively.
  • Oversee on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Provide leadership to construction teams, fostering collaboration and efficient workflow.
  • Monitor progress and resolve issues to maintain project momentum and quality.
  • Communicate project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with objectives.
  • Utilize industry expertise to optimize construction processes and deliver exceptional results.
  • Travel to various project sites as required to oversee operations and ensure standards are met.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage all phases of construction projects, from planning to completion, ensuring alignment with goals.
  • Supervise on-site construction teams, providing guidance and support to achieve project objectives.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor project budgets, identifying and addressing variances to maintain financial integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements at all project sites.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting achievements and challenges.
  • Implement best practices in construction management to enhance efficiency and quality.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications in construction management preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in retail environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to project sites as required.
  • Ability to work remotely while maintaining effective oversight of on-site activities.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools is highly desirable.
