Overview

• Lead nursing operations across multiple healthcare facilities, ensuring high-quality patient care and clinical excellence.
• Drive strategic initiatives to stabilize and elevate nursing performance in transitional environments.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to implement effective nursing practices and operational strategies.
• Provide oversight for nursing staff development, recruitment, and retention to build a strong team culture.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.
• Represent nursing concerns at governing board meetings and professional committees.
• Promote cost-effective resource management to optimize departmental budgets and patient care outcomes.
• Implement and evaluate nursing standards of practice to align with current healthcare trends.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide executive leadership for nursing and patient care services across the healthcare system.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; postgraduate degree preferred.
• Active RN license with eligibility for multistate compact licensure.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive management experience in nursing leadership roles.
• Proven ability to lead nursing operations in transitional or challenging environments.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
• Demonstrated success in recruiting, retaining, and developing nursing staff.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Experience in cost control and resource management within healthcare settings.
