Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician directives.
  • Administer contrast media and monitor patient responses during imaging sessions.
  • Ensure imaging equipment functionality and conduct routine maintenance checks.
  • Document imaging results accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs to uphold imaging service standards.
  • Educate patients about procedures and address their concerns professionally.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize diagnostic and therapeutic outcomes.
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and integrate best practices.

Job Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program is required.
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and eligibility for CT registry by ARRT.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in radiologic imaging; 2 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment and performing diagnostic procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of patient care and safety protocols in imaging environments.
  • Commitment to professional growth and adherence to ethical standards.
