Job Description

Overview

  • Support diverse portfolio companies and family office functions within a dynamic investment environment.
  • Collaborate with portfolio finance teams to implement financial controls and reporting processes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with tax compliance and preparation.
  • Provide financial research and analysis for potential investments and due diligence processes.
  • Contribute to operational improvement initiatives across portfolio companies.
  • Assist with personal and family financial management with utmost confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to support strategic financial planning.
  • Develop skills across accounting, finance, and operations in a growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Maintain accurate books and records for multiple entities, ensuring compliance and integrity.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Assist portfolio companies with financial planning, forecasting, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct financial research and analysis for investment opportunities and M&A transactions.
  • Support post-acquisition integration of financial systems and processes.
  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support to the investment team and family office operations.
  • Maintain confidential financial records with the highest level of discretion.
  • Collaborate with portfolio company finance teams to implement financial controls and reporting processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or taxation is required.
  • CPA certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are critical.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information is necessary.
  • Experience with financial controls, reporting processes, and operational improvement initiatives is preferred.
