Job Description

Overview

  • Lead and supervise a team of Junior Systems Engineers and Interns in a dynamic IT environment.
  • Act as an escalation point for technical and non-technical issues, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and training to enhance team performance and professional growth.
  • Manage client relationships and provide consultative services to ensure satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Participate in organizational initiatives to improve processes, technology, and client services.
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage feedback to foster a productive team environment.
  • Support technical projects and provide oversight and guidance to ensure successful execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance IT management and cybersecurity solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise and manage a team of IT professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues, providing expert solutions.
  • Approve PTO and manage time entry for team members to ensure compliance.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering skill development and professional growth.
  • Oversee technical projects, offering guidance and recommending effective solutions.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Assist with client escalations and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
  • Attend client meetings and contribute to improving organizational processes and technology.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree with at least 5 years of IT experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in people management within an IT setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office, and mobile device troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 stack, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Experience in an MSP environment and exposure to ConnectWise suite of products.
  • Desirable experience with cybersecurity solutions and financial industry applications.
