Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise and manage a team of IT professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues, providing expert solutions.
- Approve PTO and manage time entry for team members to ensure compliance.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering skill development and professional growth.
- Oversee technical projects, offering guidance and recommending effective solutions.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Assist with client escalations and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
- Attend client meetings and contribute to improving organizational processes and technology.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree with at least 5 years of IT experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in people management within an IT setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office, and mobile device troubleshooting.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 stack, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, and DNS.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Experience in an MSP environment and exposure to ConnectWise suite of products.
- Desirable experience with cybersecurity solutions and financial industry applications.
