Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead pre-construction teams to achieve project milestones and ensure timely delivery of objectives and deliverables.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and prepare estimates for assigned trades and scopes.
• Coordinate subcontractor input to ensure comprehensive scope inclusion and accuracy in project estimates.
• Provide operational input during estimating and proposal processes to enhance project outcomes and strategies.
• Review subcontractor bid proposals and maintain accurate documentation for project records and analysis.
• Analyze cost data to develop benchmarks and improve the accuracy of building system cost estimates.
• Conduct site evaluations to identify scope gaps and assess existing conditions for effective project planning.
• Develop pre-construction schedules to ensure alignment with project timelines and organizational goals.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a construction estimator, with a strong project engineering background.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction materials, systems, and trade practices for accurate estimating.
• Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software and excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to lead pre-construction teams and manage project deadlines efficiently and effectively.
• Strong conceptual skills to interpret limited information and align with owner requirements.
• Experience in value engineering, budget controls, and constructability reviews to optimize project outcomes.
• Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience preferred for this role.
• On-site work arrangement required to facilitate effective collaboration and project execution.
