Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee global accounting operations, including general ledger, close, consolidation, and statutory reporting processes.
- Redesign and modernize accounting workflows to support organizational scalability and operational effectiveness.
- Develop and enforce global accounting policies to ensure compliance and consistency across all functions.
- Lead ERP system evaluation, selection, and migration, ensuring seamless integration with business strategies.
- Maintain a robust internal control environment and oversee financial reporting controls to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with FP&A teams to provide actionable operational insights through comprehensive financial reporting.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, coordinating audit activities and ensuring compliance.
- Mentor and develop accounting team members, fostering professional growth and accountability within the department.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in accounting or financial management roles.
- Proven expertise in leading ERP system evaluations, migrations, and implementations.
- Deep technical accounting knowledge and ability to apply standards in complex environments.
- Strong judgment and discretion in handling sensitive financial information and decision-making.
- Experience in media or advertising industries is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and sustain transformation initiatives within financial operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in presenting to senior stakeholders.
