Job Description

Overview

  • Manage commercial construction projects, including ground-up and tenant improvement initiatives, with budgets ranging from $5M to $6.5M.
  • Coordinate national travel to oversee project sites, ensuring timely and quality completion.
  • Collaborate with teams to execute construction plans for gym/fitness centers and other facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with site utility and foundation standards during project execution.
  • Provide leadership and maintain communication with stakeholders for project updates and resolutions.
  • Offer hybrid work arrangements to balance on-site and remote responsibilities effectively.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to foster collaboration and reliability across teams.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and management teams.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and external partners.
  • Implement effective problem-solving strategies to address construction challenges.
  • Manage travel arrangements and logistics for national project oversight.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of project activities and milestones.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree in construction management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in managing ground-up and tenant improvement projects.
  • Experience with gym/fitness center construction projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of site utilities and foundation work.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel nationally and manage remote project sites effectively.
