Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Administer medications and vaccines following established protocols and certification guidelines.
  • Perform diagnostic tests, assist in procedures, and conduct phlebotomy as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of examination rooms and medical equipment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Participate in health screenings and adhere to healthcare standards and regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or certification as a Medical Assistant.
  • Associate of Applied Science degree preferred; high school diploma required.
  • CPR certification and compliance with health screening requirements.
  • Experience in phlebotomy and vaccine administration is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Value-Based Care principles and patient care metrics.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred; proficiency exam required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in clinical tasks.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
