Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage diverse ABS portfolios, ensuring operational accuracy and efficiency in all daily processes.
- Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with administrators to maintain data integrity.
- Handle month-end updates, including principal distributions and interest calculations.
- Assist in portfolio valuation, pricing, and reporting to internal committees and stakeholders.
- Support securitization transactions and provide reporting and purchase assistance.
- Manage trade lifecycle activities, from instrument setup to settlement resolution.
- Coordinate cash management processes, including wire submissions and broker communications.
- Participate in strategic projects aimed at enhancing system functionality and workflows.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree required, preferably in finance or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of middle/back-office experience, ideally within a buy-side fund.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with tools like Intex, Bloomberg, and trustee websites.
- Knowledge of structured credit asset classes, including ABS, RMBS, CMBS, and CLOs.
- Experience with portfolio management systems such as Geneva or VPM is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
