Job Description

Overview

  • Support fund operations in a dynamic financial environment, ensuring accurate investment records and scalable processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage transaction execution and post-close validations effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive investment trackers, transaction logs, and performance files for portfolio visibility and accuracy.
  • Ensure precise documentation of ownership structures, capital flows, and legal entity relationships.
  • Oversee security master data and investment-level reference data for operational integrity.
  • Record and reconcile investment activities, including capital calls, distributions, and fees.
  • Develop and refine standard operating procedures to enhance controls and audit readiness.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements for scalability and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate operational aspects of investment closings, including documentation tracking and funding logistics.
  • Support syndications, restructurings, amendments, and corporate actions affecting portfolio investments.
  • Collaborate with Treasury to ensure accurate settlement of investment-related cash movements.
  • Perform reconciliations of cash, positions, and P&L between internal records and administrator reports.
  • Assist in managing fund structures and deal-level ownership charts for consistency and accuracy.
  • Support the evaluation and implementation of portfolio management systems for operational efficiency.
  • Provide operational assistance during quarterly reporting cycles and audit periods.
  • Handle ad hoc analyses and data requests from investment, finance, and capital formation teams.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
  • 2-6 years of experience in fund operations, accounting, or investment operations preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with portfolio management systems is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with a track record of driving projects to completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Knowledge of fund structures, capital flows, and investment transaction mechanics.
  • Experience with fund administrator platforms and investment-related data management systems.
