Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to patient needs and circumstances.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to create comprehensive care plans addressing mental and physical health.
- Perform detailed diagnostic evaluations, including mental status exams and psychosocial assessments.
- Develop therapy goals and strategies to guide patient progress and recovery effectively.
- Provide supervision and training to social work interns, ensuring adherence to clinical and ethical standards.
- Educate healthcare staff on psychosocial factors affecting patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient services and progress in medical records.

Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure in New York State as LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Psychologist.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals facing homelessness or chronic health conditions.
- Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to supervise and mentor interns, fostering their professional development.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards, including Article 28 and JCAHO regulations.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and reporting within healthcare systems.
