Overview

  • Lead ground-up commercial construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams and trades to coordinate mechanicals, drywall, concrete, and asphalt operations effectively.
  • Utilize advanced project management tools like Microsoft Project, ConDocs, Sage, ProCore, or Bluebeam for planning and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with construction safety standards and regulations, fostering a secure work environment.
  • Engage with stakeholders to align project goals, expectations, and deliverables seamlessly.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to construction teams, promoting professional growth and collaboration.
  • Monitor budgets and resource allocation to optimize project outcomes and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the organization's reputation for excellence in commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules using Microsoft Project, ensuring timely project milestones.
  • Oversee and coordinate trades, including mechanicals, drywall, concrete, and asphalt, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Implement and manage project management software such as ConDocs, Sage, ProCore, or Bluebeam for seamless operations.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and construction regulations, maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives align with organizational goals and client expectations.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve optimal project outcomes.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to construction teams, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Track and report project progress to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications in construction management preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project for schedule creation and management.
  • Experience with project management tools like ConDocs, Sage, ProCore, or Bluebeam.
  • Strong knowledge of construction trades and processes, including mechanicals, drywall, concrete, and asphalt.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize project outcomes.
  • On-site work required; must be able to travel to project locations as needed.
