Job Description

Overview

  • Collaborate with the Revenue Operations Team to manage and maintain client billing arrangements and negotiated rates effectively.
  • Support rate reviews, RFIs, RFPs, and annual rate negotiations to ensure accurate implementation of client agreements.
  • Utilize systems to administer client rate schedules, alternative fee arrangements, and discount structures efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with outside counsel guidelines and engagement letters to build trust with clients.
  • Provide exposure to various finance facets, including profitability reporting, strategic pricing, and risk management.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for pricing operations processes and systems.
  • Offer training and support for the Global Client Account Team on rates application and documentation.
  • Assist in ad hoc requests and analysis to support pricing operations management.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Document and manage client fee arrangements through communication with relevant teams and partners.
  • Prepare materials for annual rate review cycles and track rate increase approvals.
  • Maintain and administer client rate schedules, AFAs, and discounting structures in Aderant.
  • Audit fee arrangements and rates, ensuring accurate matter setups in Aderant.
  • Review client billing guidelines and summarize key provisions for compliance.
  • Support software reviews, validation testing, and process improvements for pricing operations.
  • Develop and implement system improvements for billing arrangement information and management.
  • Provide training and create user guides for rates application processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees such as MBA or MS are a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing, e-billing, pricing, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in corporate or law firm settings is preferred.
