Overview

  • Lead the strategic transformation of finance and accounting systems for a forward-thinking professional services firm.
  • Collaborate across departments to implement innovative solutions enhancing operational efficiency and data reliability.

  • Drive the adoption of automation and emerging technologies to streamline processes and ensure compliance.
  • Ensure alignment of financial systems with cybersecurity standards and internal controls.
  • Provide leadership in budgeting, vendor management, and resource allocation to maximize organizational value.
  • Develop and execute transformation roadmaps aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Support strategic decision-making through advanced analytics and reporting tools implementation.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Act as a strategic advisor to leadership, driving modernization of financial systems and reporting capabilities.
  • Lead systems transformation initiatives, including roadmap development and disciplined execution of technology programs.
  • Oversee core finance systems, ensuring operational reliability and data integrity.
  • Coordinate system enhancements, upgrades, and operational support with IT and external vendors.
  • Evaluate and implement automation and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Manage technology-related budgets, vendor contracts, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Define and monitor operational performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead training programs and change management efforts for successful system adoption.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Accounting, or Finance required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in systems implementation, business analysis, or project management.
  • Preferred experience within a professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and ERP platforms like Aderant Expert.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
  • Advanced technical skills including T-SQL, Excel formulas, and Python.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and cybersecurity best practices.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential preferred.
