Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-Ray, MRI, and CT scans with precision and adherence to protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines during imaging operations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting imaging results for clinical review.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and readiness.
  • Educate patients about imaging procedures, addressing their questions and concerns effectively.
  • Assist in developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures to enhance service quality.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated with industry advancements.

Job Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program with relevant certifications.
  • Certification in Radiography (R), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), or Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtainable upon hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging; 2 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and adhering to safety standards.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing patient records.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with GE imaging systems and Epic software is advantageous.
