• Manage financial reporting and accounting systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives and streamline workflows.
• Drive process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
• Identify opportunities for automation and implement innovative solutions to optimize financial operations.
• Lead system testing, upgrades, and user acceptance testing to ensure seamless integration of new functionalities.
• Develop and maintain financial reports for strategic decision-making and board-level presentations.
• Ensure governance over financial formats, chart of accounts, and income categories.
• Support organizational goals by delivering accurate and timely financial insights.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Design, test, and validate accounting reports to meet diverse organizational needs.
• Develop ad hoc queries and analyses to support management decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business requirements.
• Maintain governance over financial reporting structures, formats, and standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Partner with technology teams to prioritize and execute system-driven enhancements.
• Document business requirements and oversee system testing and upgrades.
• Proactively identify automation opportunities to improve controllership and reporting accuracy.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field required.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred, showcasing advanced expertise in financial management.
• Minimum 4 years of experience required; 8 years preferred for advanced roles.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and database management, including SQL.
• Experience with MRI software is a plus, enhancing technical capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills and expertise in financial reporting and analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access for data management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
