  • Drive continuous improvement in clinical practices, patient outcomes, and operational processes to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee patient care delivery systems and practice standards in the labor and delivery unit, ensuring optimal outcomes and safety.
  • Facilitate collaboration with physicians and healthcare providers to align care delivery with organizational goals.
  • Manage the allocation and utilization of resources, including equipment, supplies, and staffing, to support operational needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve performance targets and improve quality and service delivery.
  • Lead initiatives for compliance with regulatory standards, including continuous survey readiness and audit preparation.
  • Promote professional growth and development among nursing staff, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
  • Monitor and address patient and family concerns, ensuring resolution and satisfaction with care services.
  • Implement and oversee emergency preparedness plans, ensuring staff training and operational readiness.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Registered Nurse License (California) required.
  • Minimum five years of experience in patient care delivery and clinical healthcare operations.
  • Four years of leadership experience in healthcare settings, managing teams and operational initiatives.
  • Proficiency in regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and emergency preparedness planning.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills to drive operational efficiency and resource management.
  • Basic Life Support certification required at hire, with ongoing compliance.
  • Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and fostering collaboration across healthcare departments.
