Job Description

Overview

  • Support private credit operations, focusing on trade lifecycle management, structured credit securities, and private equity investments.
  • Ensure accurate trade capture, timely settlement, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and optimize operational policies, procedures, and controls to enhance scalability and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to streamline workflows and improve control frameworks.
  • Provide operational support for private equity investments, including post-closing activities and compliance processes.
  • Assist with KYC/AML processes, account documentation, and onboarding for fund launches and trading relationships.
  • Engage with stakeholders to resolve trade settlement discrepancies efficiently and effectively.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational systems and platforms.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process private loan trades, including documentation review, funding coordination, and lifecycle management.
  • Monitor daily cash activities and coordinate intra-day cash movements for funding and settlement.
  • Oversee loan onboarding, security setup, and trade booking in internal systems.
  • Manage trade lifecycle events, including amendments, restructurings, and corporate actions.
  • Collaborate with asset management teams and external parties on borrower funding requests.
  • Support operational due diligence and compliance activities for new investors and fund launches.
  • Enhance operational policies and procedures to support scaling platforms and reduce risks.
  • Partner with technology teams to implement process improvements and control enhancements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree with strong academic performance.
  • 3–8 years of experience in accounting, finance, or hedge fund administration.
  • Knowledge of private credit products, including CRE loans and direct lending.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reconciliation tasks.
  • Experience with platforms like Eze OMS, Geneva, Hazeltree, or similar systems preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to resolve complex issues in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with a strong sense of accountability.
