Job Description

Overview

  • Lead tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for diverse clients.
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to deliver high-quality tax solutions.
  • Supervise and mentor tax staff, fostering professional growth and teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for various entities and individuals.
  • Identify tax risk management issues and propose practical solutions.
  • Contribute to the firm’s strategic vision and dynamic growth plans.
  • Work in a hybrid capacity, balancing office and remote work effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review tax returns, including high-net-worth individuals, fiduciary, corporate, and partnership filings.
  • Manage engagement workflows, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Provide tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to clients.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff to enhance their professional development.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, partners, and team members.
  • Monitor and address team member questions to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Conduct tax research and apply technical knowledge to complex matters.
  • Identify and resolve tax risk management issues collaboratively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Required).
  • CPA license (Required).
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in public accounting or CPA firm (Required).
  • Proficiency in CCH Axcess Tax, tax research tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Preferred).
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with a professional and positive demeanor.
