Overview

• Lead on-site construction operations, ensuring project safety, quality, and timely delivery while fostering teamwork and accountability.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and personnel to achieve milestones efficiently and resolve challenges proactively.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and project specifications, maintaining detailed documentation.
• Develop and manage project schedules in collaboration with the project management team for seamless execution.
• Promote a culture of safety and quality workmanship, fostering collaboration among team members.
• Monitor labor productivity and material deliveries to maintain project timelines effectively and optimize resources.
• Support project closeout activities, including punch list coordination and final inspections, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel for efficient operations and collaboration.
• Conduct site inspections, document progress, and address corrective actions promptly to ensure integrity.
• Lead subcontractor meetings, safety discussions, and coordination sessions to maintain alignment.
• Manage inspections and liaise with local authorities to ensure regulatory compliance and approvals.
• Track labor productivity and material deliveries to maintain schedules and optimize resources.
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively, ensuring smooth progression and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Promote safety protocols and quality workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; advanced education in construction management preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent; 8 years preferred.
• Proven expertise in managing ground-up and renovation construction projects successfully.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and specifications, with proficiency in relevant technology.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
• Commitment to jobsite safety and promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve construction challenges and ensure seamless project execution.
