Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage daily fund accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Validate NAV allocations, performance metrics, and fund-level activities with precision and accuracy.
- Coordinate year-end audits and compliance processes, collaborating with auditors and stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed financial materials for presentation to Audit Committees and Boards of Directors.
- Analyze and implement new accounting standards, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with technology teams to automate processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Support investor services with accurate and timely financial reporting and disclosures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through detailed reporting and documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fund accounting; 5 years preferred.
- Proficiency in regulatory reporting, SEC filings, and compliance processes.
- Strong knowledge of NAV calculations, fund administration, and performance metrics.
- Experience coordinating audits and ensuring SOX compliance.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
